Pennine was founded by David Marsden after fifteen years working slate roofs across the North West. Today we're a settled team of six — every roofer NFRC-trained, every job signed off personally by David before we leave site.
We work mostly on domestic and heritage properties: Victorian terraces, Edwardian semis, the occasional listed building. We're as comfortable lifting reclaimed Welsh slate as we are laying modern interlocking tiles. We do not subcontract, we do not chase volume, and we do not leave a roof we wouldn't stand under ourselves.
Most of our work comes from referrals. Most quotes turn into jobs. We think those two things are related.
